Report: Development Screenshots From Cancelled Star Wars: KOTOR Remake by Aspyr Surfaces

Early in-game development photos reveal weapons, props, and a third-person prototype for the cancelled version of Star Wars: KOTOR Remake.

The remake is currently in the hands of Saber Interactive, and it still doesn’t look like we’ll be hearing any news about that version anytime soon. But on the bright side, we’ve continued to uncover more development material from that first, cancelled version, this time including a look at props, weapons, and even a capture of a (really early) playable prototype.

According to the artist, some of these props belonged to an introductory level. It is also mentioned that the weapons were being designed with a modular weapon system in mind, allowing players to upgrade guns by swapping out parts. We get a clear example of this modular system in an image featuring a blaster rifle.
