Do you fear GTAVI gets too ambitious for its own good that it suffers delay, BIG setback, etc?

Like... Would it surprise you at all if this could be a launch game for PS6 & Xbox 5?

I've been thinking about it since I've read this weeks ago:

And I don't have the numbers but if I'd to guess GTAV online is still printing tons of money for Rockstar, probably more than a handful of new triple A games. Combined.

Not saying they're gonna abandon the PS5 & Xbox 4 versions, but IMO they'd do like they did with GTAV dual launch (PS3 & 360 first, few months PS4 & Xbox One).

Right now, there isn't one game that's most anticipated than this game. Its trailer views alone is just one reason, among many. So many. In fact some analyst guys project it'll outsell GTAV eventually or something.

If GTAVI is this such a big deal already & it isn't out yet...

Do you guys have the brain cells how truly gigantic GTAVII (SEVEN) could be 🫨

Thoughts on this everyone.

I understand what you’re saying and that thought has crossed my mind as well. However, I have such a belief in RS to develop the exact game they envision. I mean they put out such quality games (2018’s RDR2 for example) that competitors are still YEARS away from developing anything close to the same.
 
I think the article refers to the early 2025 target as no longer possible, and indeed that seems to be where we're headed. Both GTAV and RDR2's second trailers dropped around a year before the actual release (I say actual because RDR2 dropped its second trailer in Fall 2017 saying it would release in Spring 2018, which turned into October 2018). So as long as we get a trailer by the end of the year, I think we're in good shape to play this thing in 2025.
