Insider Gaming has learned that Activision leadership has been taking note of Battlefield 6's recent hype, but is not worried that the franchise will outcompete Call of Duty.

This will be the first time since 2010 when I came home from Iraq that I didn’t preorder COD. The chat bans, the cheating, the stupid skins, the FORCED crossplay have ran me off. It’s been over a year since they sold out to Microsoft and I haven’t been able to get in a warzone match with crossplay turned off. They win, they can have it back. Hopefully Battlefield will be a good game and good replacement. I enjoyed cod until 2019.
 
Well they better keep making good COD games or it might happen tbh... But yes COD is a very huge title indeed but could lose a lot of players if they don't do the right thing though and do add stuff people want for example.
