Don't worry it'll be just like this generation... So I don't think they'll do things differently besides maybe try to make Cloud gaming more relevant which it won't be lol. Anyway I'm not worried since there will be both a PS6 standard and a PS6 digital so you can just get the PS6 with the Blu-Ray disc driveIf that’s the case, then the PS5 Fat will be my last console. There’s no way I’m buying a console whose whole or partial functionality depends on an internet connection :[
The difference is that an ‘add-on’ disc is not a native disc. Those who went all in for a 30th Anniversary collector’s edition can’t be sure they’ll be able to use it later, if they ever decide to open it (...). Yeah it's not part of the console like in the past and an Internet connection is required... But it's still a better than nothing thing.
