Sad day for game developers and gamers alike.

Hello everyone. I just wanted to say as a long time player of Bethesda Games that today is a sad day. After hearing that many projects had been canceled leading to huge layoffs is very disappointing. This is what I and many fans of Bethesda was worried about when Microsoft bought the company. Bethesda use to put gamers first which is what made them one of the best studios in the business. But since Microsoft bought the company it has started to decline and now with them cutting funding to Bethesda and many others it's only going to get worse. Hopefully these smaller companies under Microsoft can bounce back and be allowed to run as they once did when they didn't have the restrictions that they now face. Just wanted to give the opinion of many others and myself. Hopefully Microsoft sees this and changes whatever it is that they are doing for the better. Not just for gamers but for developers and their families. Thank you for your time.

This really does feel like a turning point, and not in a good way. Big acquisitions always come with risks, especially for creative studios. I read ai consulting agency https://artjoker.net about how some tech companies approach development cycles and team structures. It shows how important a leadership strategy is. I hope Bethesda can regain some independence in their decision-making, because their legacy deserves better than this situation.
I understand the concern. Layoffs and cancellations are tough, but hopefully Microsoft refines strategy and supports creativity while sustaining long-term studio stability.
