Forum Performance

I have just signed up and noticed that the performance seems to be very slow, especially compared to other forums that are using the same forum engine. Nothing that would prevent me from being a member, just something I noticed during the sign up process. Great site outside of that so far!

Thanks for letting us know. So far, all of our testing is showing no speed or performance issues. We run tests a few times a day to test our overall server speed. If you could possibly screen capture the slow performance for us, that would be helpful

I will see what I can do. It will be hard to screenshot what I am experiencing (at times, not all the time). When clicking on a link, there is a delay in loading the page. Whether it's click on NEW POSTS or my profile access, nothing happens for a little bit. I am NOT seeing slow performance as in images taking awhile to load, things like that. When the page loads, it's all there. And it hasn't happened each time. Thank you for the reply Mike.

So I just tried to reply to a post and had the same issue. After I clicked on reply I received the forum loading animations. It took about 25 seconds for those animations to disappear, and the post went through.

We basically have had more traffic the last 48 hours than at any point in our sites history. So we are working on fixing things for the surge!
Yeah I can tell as there's more people signing-up and also many people are on here reading the sections with threads about the PS5 Pro etc. And I can see more people joining this site in 2025 as it'll be a busy year for sure!
