Another rumor suggests that the first PlayStation State of Play of 2025 is going to happen on February 14.

I've heard that Resident Evil 9 might be announced in this (or later this year)

But it seems that it's currently slated for 2026 and it's the first title being made on the REX Engine

That would be very nice... But I can see the reveal been mid-late 2025 tbh.
 
I'm guessing that Resident Evil 9 gets announced and shown later this Spring after Monster Hunter Wilds is out the door.
