You'll need to remember that they're not competing against others. They're not talking about "we have 10x the graphics of PlayStation 5." No, let me translate what he said "Nintendo Switch 2 has 10x the graphics over the original Nintendo Switch." That's all there is to it.Hmm well it's better... But dunno about the 10x part. But I guess the OLED version of it won't be much better just like what Nintendo did with the Nintendo Switch. But I'll be waiting until the OLED version of the Nintendo Switch 2 is out and then so will I maybe consider getting one if the price is right in regards to the hardware and software too hopefully.
Don't get me wrong it's nice to see the difference between the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2... But it feels more like a Nintendo Switch Pro than a Nintendo Switch 2. But I guess Nintendo nowadays doesn't care much about how strong their console/hybrid console is but more about the games which tbh matters more but the hardware still matters too... But yeah I guess Nintendo isn't really competing with anybody so far until maybe Sony for example makes a good handheld and it sells well then so is Sony at least kind of Nintendo's competitor just like the good old days. You'll need to remember that they're not competing against others. I mean, Nintendo Switch's Tegra X1 is about 9 years old by the time Switch 2 is released. And it's not even that powerful. Nowhere close to the power of Xbox One or PS4. It's about the power of an Xbox 360 and Xbox One - in between there. The reason why companies were able to do a lot with it, is because they had to scale a lot of the games backwards a bit. Witcher 3 for example is an Xbox One game. But the company had to use Xbox 360/One tech to achieve the end-result.
Same goes for Doom Eternal.
OLED version of Switch ....there isn't that much of a "improvement" there, it's just a OLED screen with improved battery, if I remember correctly.
I don't think that the graphics will be x10 better. Marketing ploy. You'll need to remember that they're not competing against others. Yes, the Switch 2 will have better performance, but 10x is probably too optimistic. The OLED screen, improved battery and stability are certainly useful updates, I hope it will be top-notch. I agree that Nintendo will most likely focus not on hardware power, but on games, as always. I hope they add a lot of gambling games, I have been waiting for this for a long time. So far, I have only played Poker Club and read at https://gamblizard.ca/best-canadian-online-casinos/casino-payment-options/idebit-casinos/ about replenishing an account, payment and security of games. I hope this knowledge will be useful to me one day for games on Switch 2. In the end, games make this platform unique, and Nintendo understands that this is what is important to users.
